The LBCA listens to its Members
The LBCA holds a conference in early March every year which acts as the basis for developing the LBCA and its members yearly work plan and goals. Members participate and raise any concerns or issues they are having and the LBCA use these issues to determine a work plan.
The LBCA provide members with practical and real solutions and by gaining this first hand knowledge are able to provide members with the very best service
Furthermore the LBCA is well represented by the LBCA Committee, which is made up of real transport operators of varying fleet sizes, including those running large operations to owner drivers. This disperse group represent the broad spectrum of LBCA membership allowing the LBCA to cover the needs of all members. Click here to view the LBCA Committee.
The LBCA Committee are actively involved in the industry, this is evident through the LBCA appointment to RFAC (Jim Savage) and TOLG (Andrew Higginson) and even more current appointment to the Minister's fatigue working group. The LBCA have strong relationships with government and the industry and through these relationships are able to deliver benefits for their members.
LBCA work closely with their national association the Australian Livestock Transporters Association who look after members issues at a national level. The ALTA is also a member of the ATA and through this relationship the LBCA is able to get your messages across with a very strong driving force.
